About the role

Who thrives here? Someone dependable, warm and observant who enjoys helping people, communicates clearly and respects each client's independence. Previous professional caregiving experience is welcome but not required.

At ElitZi Services, we help individuals and families feel supported through everyday routines and important life transitions. Our Companions provide attentive, nonmedical support in clients’ homes, including companionship, practical assistance and help with routines during periods of recovery or changing family needs.

You'll follow individualized service plans, communicate with our care coordination team and help create a calm, respectful experience for every client.

What you'll do

Offer conversation, companionship and meaningful social engagement.
Provide reminders and encouragement for established daily routines, within the service plan.
Help with permitted light housekeeping, meal preparation and household organization.
Support clients with non-hands-on activities and practical tasks, as assigned.
Observe and promptly report changes, concerns or safety issues to ElitZi's coordination team.
Document visits accurately while respecting client privacy and preferences.
When specifically trained and assigned, assist with authorized discharge-day coordination tasks such as gathering nonclinical instructions and communicating logistics.

What we’re looking for

Reliable, compassionate and professional conduct.
Clear communication, sound judgment and willingness to learn.
Ability to follow service plans, maintain confidentiality and complete basic documentation.
Reliable transportation to client locations within mutually agreed service areas.
Willingness to complete applicable screening, onboarding and role-specific training.
Availability for agreed shifts, potentially including evenings or weekends.

Pay, scheduling & recognition

Pay: $11–$15+/hour

Part-time / PRN

Based on relevant experience, qualifications and demonstrated skills

W-2 employment; assignments vary with client demand

Flexible assignments may include daytime, evening and weekend hours. Schedules depend on client needs, employee availability and suitability for each assignment.

Bonus milestones, qualifying hours and applicable eligibility protections are detailed during hiring and onboarding.

Professional boundaries & safety

Companions provide nonmedical support within the authorized service plan and their verified training. They do not perform hands-on personal care, nursing procedures or independent clinical assessments. ElitZi employees do not transport clients in their personal vehicles as part of company services.

Discharge-day coordination duties are assigned only after additional training and authorization; this does not expand a Companion's scope into clinical or PCA duties.
